Rules and FAQ

It's 10.00 an hour to enter the cuddle room.  This fee helps us provide the best foster facility for the kitties.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the cuddle room to assist in implementing cuddle room requirements. Please make sure your children are supervised by you at all times.

Cuddle Room Rules:

     Use inside voices.

No chasing cats, or running in the adoption center.

No throwing toys or other objects at the cats.

No climbing on the furniture or cat trees and staircase.

No harming the cats in any manner, including pulling their tails.

     Be gentle with the cats.

All the Cats are from local rescues: CARE, Smitten with Kittens, ECAH, and FALC.  See our partner page for more details.  They are all available for adoption through each rescue according to the requirements of each rescue.  Restrictions apply for each individual rescue.  Ask the cafe attendant for details.

The cafe is ran by a non profit called Feline Advocates of Leon County.  Although run by a non-profit, the cafe itself, cannot take in cats. All cats come through a rescue and are fully vetted.

All cats in the cafe are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and tested for feline AIDS and Leukemia. If a kitten is old enough it will have received its rabies vaccine and all of it's FVRCP and FELV boosters.
